Dr. R.S. Bhandari
Founder
Dr. R.S. Bhandari is a visionary leader and pioneer in Nepal’s healthcare and medical equipment industry. In 2001, he founded Om Surgical Concern, marking his entry into the healthcare field. He later established Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital in Sindhupalchowk, providing essential medical services to his hometown. As Chairman of HAMS Hospital and Nagarik Hospital , Dr. Bhandari has significantly impacted healthcare in Nepal. Notably, under his leadership, HAMS Hospital became the first private hospital authorized to admit COVID-19 patients during the pandemic. Dr. Bhandari’s commitment to healthcare extends to education, with nursing colleges affiliated with HAMS and Sindhu Sadabahar Hospitals, empowering future medical professionals. His contributions have earned him international recognition, including a Professional Doctoral Certificate in Hospital Management from the European International University.

Mr. Prem Bahadur Bhandari is serving as the Executive Director of Bhandari Surgical House , Tripureshwor. The organization is widely recognized as a leading importer and distributor of hospital furniture, surgical goods, laboratory equipment and a diverse range of health-related products. With a commitment to enhancing healthcare accessibility, he also supervises Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital in his hometown, Sindhupalchowk, providing vital medical services to the local community. Mr. Bhandari has lately expanded his ventures outside of healthcare into the agriculture industry, by establishing Sindhu Poultry Farm in Sindhupalchowk. This facility, powered by German technology, is the first of its kind in Nepal, setting new benchmarks for modern poultry farming in the country.

Executive Director
D.B. Bhandari serves as the Executive Director of Om Surgical Concern , a leading supplier of medical equipment in Nepal. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a pivotal role in ensuring the availability of critical medical supplies in the country. Responding to the first tender for COVID-19 medical equipment announced by the Nepal Public Health Laboratory (NPHL), Mr. Bhandari demonstrated exceptional leadership by successfully orchestrating the import of PCR Kits, PPE kits, and other vital medical equipment through a chartered plane, addressing urgent national needs. Beyond Covid-19 achievements, Mr. Bhandari promoted significant community health programmes. He established a strategic partnership with Lions Club Nepal, by organising a health camp in collaboration with iChroma, showcasing his dedication to improving healthcare access and strengthening public health. Through his leadership and commitment, D.B. Bhandari continues to strengthen Om Surgical Concern's reputation as a trusted partner in advancing healthcare in Nepal.
