Erba ECL 105 is a compact single-channel semi-automated coagulation analyzer designed for small laboratories and routine hemostasis testing. It is capable of performing a wide range of clotting assays including PT, APTT, TT, fibrinogen, coagulation factors, D-Dimer, Protein S, and lupus anticoagulant.

The analyzer operates using light scattering detection at 640 nm for clotting assays and immuno-turbidimetric measurement at 800 nm, ensuring precise and reliable results across multiple test types. It features a built-in incubation system with five reaction cup positions maintained at 37°C ±0.2°C, ensuring stable reaction conditions.

ECL 105 is equipped with a user-friendly touchscreen interface, automatic start using standard pipettes, and an integrated thermal printer for convenient reporting. The system supports LIS connectivity and includes RFID-based safety features along with monitoring of reagent, calibrator, and control expirations.

With its compact design, minimal maintenance requirements, and comprehensive quality control program including Levey-Jennings graphs, the ECL 105 provides a cost-effective and dependable solution for routine coagulation testing in smaller laboratories.
